Hi everyone!
I was planning on blogging a lot more this month… and so far I have failed, but October is not over yet so I’m back with another WWW WEDNESDAY. This meme was originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Taking on a World of Words.
My reading this month has not been that great, I have only managed to finish reading one book so far (an amazing book) but my TBR list has completely gone down the drain. I’m really hopping to at least finish one more book before October is over. That’s all I’m asking from me, and hopefully I don’t fail myself. Wish me luck!

This meme tries to answer the following Three Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you finish recently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson
Genre: Horror, Classics
Goodreads Synopsis:
First published in 1959, Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House has been hailed as a perfect work of unnerving terror. It is the story of four seekers who arrive at a notoriously unfriendly pile called Hill House: Dr. Montague, an occult scholar looking for solid evidence of a “haunting”; Theodora, the lighthearted assistant; Eleanor, a friendless, fragile young woman well acquainted with poltergeists; and Luke, the future heir of Hill House. At first, their stay seems destined to be merely a spooky encounter with inexplicable phenomena. But Hill House is gathering its powers—and soon it will choose one of them to make its own.
This book I have been ‘’reading’’ since the begging of October and so far I have jus selected the bookmark I’m going to use.
I really REALLY need to finish reding this book before this month is over, I mean, how can I end October without reading a single scary/horror book?

The Tower of Nero (The Trials of Apollo Book 5) by Rick Riordan
Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult, Mythology
Rating: 5 / 5
Goodreads Synopsis:
At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the #1 bestselling Trials of Apollo series is here! Lester’s demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester’s final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York. Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting.
This book! I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved this book. I have been waiting all year to read The Tower of Nero and It did not disappoint.
This was the last book in The Trials of Apollo series, as well as the last one in the Percy Jackson universe. And, even though Rick Riordan said that we may get some novellas or standalone (*coff*please a Nico Di Angelo one*coff*), still it was a bittersweet moment. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed and loved the book, but at the same time I didn’t wanted to finish reading it because I didn’t wanted to be over so I may have dragged it along as much as I could. I mean, I was 13 when I read Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and now I’m 24, basically an old lady.
Anyway, the point is this book was great and I highly recommend it.

Dracula is a “must” for me during October. Honestly, I don’t feel like reading this book any other month of the year, so if I don’t reread it during October I’ll be probably not do it till next year.
Hope you enjoy it! What’s your current read? Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments!
